School Carnival

Since Aubrey will be going to our Neighborhood Elementary School next year, I thought I should support the school carnival. Plus I knew the girls would have a blast.

Their favorite was this blow-up obstacle course. Even Brooke could get through it on her own after Aubrey helped her a couple of times.

Aubrey braved the scary twisty stairs.

Gotta do the big slide.

My girls are so much braver in the bounce houses now.

This is how Aubrey has been helping Brooke stay in line. She wraps Brooke's arms around her waist so she won't loose her place or won't cut in line. I think it's pretty cute.

 Posing for their Momma.

Time for the games.
The bean bag toss.

Fishing Game

Digging for gold coins.

Duck pond.

Ball toss

We had to get some cotton candy for the ride home!

Having fun with their bubbles they won on the way home.

Such a fun little carnival!

Week 16 & 17

I didn't loose any weight week 16, but I lost 2 lbs this last week. Happy to be loosing again! My grand total weight loss is 32 lbs.

My Brookie Buddy

On the days that Aubrey has preschool Brookie and I have had fun playing at the park. She is at such a cute and fun age, I've really been enjoying some one on one time with my Brookie.

She has gotten so good at the big girl swing!

Peek A Boo

Weeeeeee!

Brookie thinks you must have a snack when you are at the park, even though we just ate breakfast!

A little puddle jumping!

One time a grasshopper came along on our outing!

Brookie even got brave enough to touch it!

I sure have enjoyed playing with my little lady in the beautiful weather we've been having!

Dinosaur Museum

A few weeks ago we were at the library and read a story about paleontologists digging for dinosaur bones. Aubrey was absolutely fascinated by it and really wanted to dig for bones herself. We happen to have a large dinosaur museum not too far from where we live and Rachel told me that they have a spot for kids to dig for dino bones. I knew we had to go and let Aubrey dig for bones!

Having fun at the erosion table.

Building dinosaurs

Building even a bigger dinosaur.

Posing with their dinosaur creation.

Brooke was fascinated by this whale.

Digging for bones.

Aubrey was thrilled and could have stayed there all day. She was disappointed that she couldn't take the bones home. She told me, "When I'm bigger I want to dig for dinosaur bones that I can take home."

Rachel and kids had to leave before us, so we started back at the beginning. This time we caught the motion exhibit.
These girls could have stayed forever throwing the ball into the hole.

There is a dark room that you walk on a bridge and you are completely surrounded head to toe by stars. The girls were a little timid at first, but then loved it!

This was Brooke's favorite part of the museum and the reason why we went through it again.

Back behind is a little stream with real fish. Brooke LOVED it!

What a fun day we had at the Dinosaur museum. I'm glad my Aubrey got to dig for bones!!
