Headbands

I wanted to crochet some headbands for my niece Jenny's baby. I've done some with yarn that are bulky and works for an older child. I thought it would be nice to make something more dainty for a baby. I experimented with different cross stitching floss. I also made up my own pattern to sort of mimic the popular checkerboard elastic headbands. Anyways, I was pretty pleased with the end result.

I did not permanently attach the flowers on the white and brown headbands , but used thin clips instead. That way she can put on whatever flower she would like. I made a few flower clips for her to interchange.

Anyway, I saw on her blog a picture of Rylee wearing the brown one. So, I blog lifted it (I hope you don't mind Jenny!)

Great job! Seriously, email me your pattern and what floss you used. I can never get mine to "stretch" and then go back to their original shape! Grrrr.
