We started our 4th of July with a swim at Esther's apartment.
Our whole group. We had the pool all to ourselves - we were surprised because we thought it was going to be crowded.
My girls did not want me to have a leisurely float.
So I surrendered the float to my two little monkeys.
Chicken fightin'. Jeff kept pretending to loose to JJ - it was real cute.
Then Elliot treated us all to pizza. (Except me - luckily I had brought a trusty apple.)
After naps we headed over to Elliot & Katie's for a BBQ.
Wherever Isla is the girls are sure to follow!
I love this pic. of Brooke.
The kids loved doing the poppers.
What an adorable group of munchkins!
Three darling girls.
I couldn't get them to all look at the camera simultaneously.
Waiting for Grandpa's firework show.
The pyro's.
So, Aubrey was covering her ears while she watched. Brooke ran over and saw what Aubrey was doing and tried to mimic it. Except she was covering her cheeks instead. What a cutie monkey.
Lovin' the fireworks.
The kids all LOVED the sparklers!
Katie and Esther did not want to be left out of the pictures!
Aubrey thought it would be fun to hold two sparklers.
So then Brooke needed to also!
Brooke was just a movin' those sparklers. It looked like she was conducting an orchestra!
After ours were done the kids were running back and forth watching the neighbors fireworks. They were having such a fun time and being so cute.
Elliot's neighbor always has a huge firework display. So, we waited in the yard for the show to begin.
Aubrey and JJ were having fun attacking Jeff. So, of course he attacked back!
Then they went after each other.
Look how sweet they are. Of course the sharing only lasted a few minutes - then Brooke wanted her own blanket.
So Aubrey shared with JJ instead. Too sweet.
Sweet tired Brookie bug.
Aubrey thought that looked fun so joined in too!
Right as the neighbors fireworks began, it started pouring rain! So, we took cover on Elliot's porch and watched a fantastic show.
It was such a fun 4th of July!
