Preschool Letter K - Kangaroos, Kittens & Kites

On my week in November, we worked on letter K for Preschool.

 

First we read a book about Kangaroos.

 

Then we turned a cut out "K" into a Kangaroo.

 

My girls finished Kangaroos.

 

Then we watched a little video of "The Three Little Kittens".

 

We then did a Kitten Mitten match game. (They had to match the correct colored mittens.)

 

Then they made their own interactive kitten so they could re-tell the poem.

  

 

The hands are on brads and the mittens and pie are fastened with Velcro so they can put them on and take them off as they recite the poem.

 

Then they made paper bag kites,

 

and went out to fly the kites.

 

They decided to eat their snacks outside. We had Kiwi and French fries with Ketchup.

 

We had a fun time learning about the letter K.
